FAQs

Solid or hollow — which is which?

Both are real metal. Solid means metal the whole way through; hollow means the same metal formed around an empty core to keep the weight and the price down. Neither is plated. Every listing says which one it is, and we never call a hollow chain solid.

Will the silver tarnish? Will it turn my neck green?

Solid 925 sterling has no plated base-metal layer to wear through. Silver can develop normal surface tarnish over time and individual skin chemistry varies; a few passes with a polishing cloth restores the shine.

How do I pick a length?

The launch Box 015 is available in 16–20″; Rope 040, 050 and 060 are available in 18–24″. As a rough guide: 16–18″ sits high, 20–22″ rests at or just below the collarbone, and 24″ sits lower on the chest. Every length shows its own catalog gram weight on the product page, so you can compare the options before you choose.

How is it made and shipped?

Our launch chains are stocked, mass-manufactured jewelry. Before a piece leaves Houston, we verify the chain, hallmark and weight on a calibrated scale, then pack it in a protective jewelry box. Shipping is free and insured on every order. You also have 30 days from delivery to return it under our refund policy.

What's your return policy?

30 days from delivery, full refund. The details — condition, return shipping and processing time — are in our Refund Policy.

How do I know it's real?

Compare the catalog gram weight for your selected length, read the hallmark stamped at the clasp (925 for sterling, 10K for gold), and take the piece to any jeweler for an independent test. Every order is also checked on a calibrated scale before shipment.
