Every listing states the chain's metal, hallmark and catalog gram weight for the selected length. We check every order on a calibrated scale before shipment. If the piece doesn't match its listing, send it back — full refund, and we cover the return shipping.

Returns within 30 days

Changed your mind? You have 30 days from delivery to return any chain for a full refund. No restocking fee and no store-credit requirement.

• The chain must come back in its original condition, unworn beyond try-on. Please include the original protective packaging when possible.
• Start a return by emailing hello@basicchainfactory.com with your order number. We reply with a return address and instructions.
• Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is on you; if the piece didn't match its listed metal, hallmark or weight, it's on us.

Refund processing

When your return arrives, we weigh and verify it at the counter — the same way it was checked before shipment. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of verification.

Exchanges

For a different length or gauge, the cleanest path is a return plus a new order. Our prices track the metal markets daily, so each order is priced at the day you place it.

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged or isn't the item you bought, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We make it right — replacement or full refund, your call, shipping on us.
